THROUGH THE GENERATIONS

Based in the heart of East Devon, Laura has been breeding English Springer Spaniels since the year 2000. Her mission is to continue this stunning bloodline of strong , athletic traditional type Springers.

The loyalty & temperament of the dogs coming from this line is outstanding and they touch the lives deeply of anyone who has one. A true & ultimate best friend. 
She aims to breed one or two litters each year , picking stud dogs based on their character, colour & physique. Strength & straightness are the first things she looks for along with a willingness to please and a natural cadence.

They need to be compact , powerful & in proportion. 
Laura has a team of beautiful bitches , all of which are homebred & who work with her on the local village shoot through the winter months. They have a wonderful free range life on the family farm based in Devon , which prior to diversification was home to a Dairy cow herd.

Hence the name of Laura’s breeding programme;

 ‘The Wessington Herd’. 
Each Dam & Sire is fully health tested and Laura is licensed to breed dogs under East Devon District Council.
